A large area of heathland north of the town of Cannock. Great butterfly interest with a small colony of Small Pearl-bordered Fritillary and a large population of Green Hairstreak.
SPBF can be found in Sherbrook and Oldacre Valley and the best place for Green Hairstreak is by the Glacial Boulder.
Cannock Chase is also the place to find the rare Welsh Clearwing Moth associated with Birch Trees.
