• Hotspots: Grafton Wood and Trench Wood in Worcestershire. Highgate Common, Doward, 

• Habitat: Wide woodland rides with dappled sunlight.

• Flight Period: Typically single-brooded on the wing mid-June to mid-August.

• Wingspan Male 56–64 mm; female 58–66 mm.
